You can test a source in a Provider account. Data Warehouse sources (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) are connected and verified by Bobsled rather than on demand, so for those this reports the current status without re-testing: 202 while setup or verification is still in progress, 200 once it has settled. Poll GET /api/v1/sources/{id} to follow a source through to Connected.
